What's Included

Maximum City is an award-winning summer program and enriched curricular experience for young city builders entering grades 4-7 (Junior Camp) and 8-12 completed (Senior Camp) operating since 2010. It is taught by leading experts and is hosted on the University of Toronto campus and nearby sites. The program includes a range of hands-on lessons in urban topics such as architecture, urban design, the environment, technology, civic engagement and transit. The program culminates in a design challenge which asks students to solve a real-life problem in our urban environment. Each week at Maximum City focuses on a different urban theme such as designing better public spaces or welcoming newcomers; students are encouraged to sign up for single or multiple weeks as each theme will be a stand-alone topic that relates to the next. For more information visit: http://maximumcity.ca/ Program spots will be filled with qualified applicants on a rolling admissions basis. Please register early to avoid disappointment. There is a limited number of scholarships available for those who qualify based on financial need; please email info@maximumcity.ca for more details.
