About This Activity

Welcome to the Fort DeSoto Triathlon Series - FD3!


This Sprint distance triathlon features a 1/4 mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, followed by a 10 mile closed course bike through Fort Desoto Park, then finishes with a beautiful 3.1 mile run down the parks hard packed beach sand with gorgeous scenery and returning on the paved path. The Duathlon starts with a 1 mile paved run around the north parking lot and finishes with the same bike and run as the Sprint Triathlon. The International Triathlon starts with a .5 mile Gulf swim, completes two 10 mile loops of the bike course, then finishes with two 3.1 mile loops of the run course. Come and see why
