The CB&I TRI - The Woodlands Triathlon is set to take place Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Northshore Park. As one of the premier multi-sport events in the region, CB&I TRI, produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, offers high-caliber competition, first-rate race management and a scenic course. The 2016 race will be a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event and will feature a field of more than 1,400 participants. Last year's participants ranged from beginners to nationally ranked triathletes. This event has reached capacity and sold out registration in the past eleven years, with the 2016 event selling out in just 11 days!

Open Water Swim Practice – April 23, 2016
Long Course: 1.2 Miles; 7:30-9:30a.m.; $25
Short Course: 500 Meters; 10:30a.m.-12:30p.m.; $15
Both Courses: Swimmers must exit water from 9:30-10:30a.m.; $30

Athletes new to open-water swimming learn about challenges of swimming in the CB&I TRI. Includes training materials, swimming tips, and the Open Water Swim Practice Short Course.

50 percent of your entry fee will be refunded until March 11, 2016, at Noon.
No refunds will be issued after March 11, 2016 at Noon. Event entries are not transferable between events or years. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy. Refunds will not include USAT membership or 1 day fee, or Active.com processing fee. Refunds can take up to 3 weeks for processing. Please email email@example.com to request a refund.
Please Note: We have a "no refund policy" in regards to weather cancelations of any kind as well as changes to the race after registration. Unforeseen changes can occur at any time no matter how finalized anything seems to be. Any changes made to the race are done because we have to, usually out of safety concerns that arise after the race has been planned. We do everything we can to create a better, safer, more enjoyable experience for all of you.
