Most amateur tennis players hit the ball at the baseline and run straight forward towards the net, losing control and implementing improper footwork.

In this video, OTI tennis pro Ean Meyer demonstrates how to properly rush the net from the baseline. Using the front foot hop and c-shape footwork, you can cover ground more efficiently, and use your momentum to swing your racket as well.
