Whether you’re interested in trying out the potter’s wheel or you simply need a refresher, this class enables beginning and experienced ceramicists some valuable time in the clay studio. In order to participate as an open studio member, all students are now required to complete two evenings of wheel instruction and one evening of glazing instruction. Wheel and glazing classes will be offered in several sessions this fall and winter, with designated open studio hours in between. Once the required classes are successfully completed, students may become ceramics studio members and use the facility during the school’s posted open studio hours. All classes and open studio hours take place on weekday evenings, from 6 – 9pm. Students can come to any or all open studio nights, as long as they have taken the intro to throwing classes first.
