What's Included

A guided wild mushroom foray culminating in a delicious dinner in a private home. Join local wild mushroom expert John Sir Jesse and French chef Bertrand Marchal for a day of discovery, delicacy and delight. Spend the morning on a guided foray into Telluride’s high country to learn about and gather a variety of edible local fungi. Then reconvene in the evening to transform the day’s harvest into a delicious dinner while learning the nuances of cooking wild mushrooms – whether the beloved chanterelle, the nutty King Bolete or the subtle Shaggy Mane. This dinner portion of this class will take place at a private home, possibly in the Mountain Village. Ah Haa will help arrange carpooling for the foray and the dinner. Foraging 10 am-2 pm; Cooking 5-8 pm.
