What's Included

Explore monotype, linoleum-relief, collagraphy and screen printing. Get an introduction to the basics of printmaking while exploring four distinct processes: monotype, linoleum-relief printing, collagraphy and screen printing. Each is unique in the technique and outcome, with room for experimentation in the process. We will look at examples, discuss what works and why, draw, carve into rubber, collage for collographs, make stencils and paint directly onto a silkscreen. This is an exciting medium that is easy to learn and creates a variety of results – with the added bonus of multiple works from one effort. All supplies are included in the materials fee.
