(Ages 5-12) At this intermediate level, students build confidence and performance in the front and back crawl strokes, continue to improve the elementary backstroke and butterfly, and begin breaststroke, sidestroke, and basic turning. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level 3 or demonstration of 25-yard swim using front crawl with rotary breathing and 15-yard swim using back crawl.
