Additional Information

Relax and paddle on the scenic and easy flowing Colorado River! Camp overnight on an island at the halfway point on river's edge and enjoy nature! Bring your own camping gear, food and water. We will provide a check list for you or you may rent camping gear for an additional cost. Continue on your journey Sunday to Fisherman's Park in Bastrop. Canoe, paddles, lifejackets, one dry bag, shuttle transportation from start to finish and two experienced river guides all included! This trip is rated as family and beginner friendly, however, some BASIC canoe handling experience is required. There will be a canoe clinic in Austin leading up to the river trip or we can arrange a private or group lesson to learn just a few basic skills to make your trip safer and more enjoyable- especially if you are traveling with small children.
