Description
Held under the sanction of USA Swimming, USMS, and Vicksburg Swim Association, swim events include an Open 1 Mile, Masters 1 Mile, Open 1/2 Mile, Masters 1/2 Mile, Open 1/4 Mile, Masters 1/4 Mile, and 12 and under 1/4 Mile. Each swimmer must be a 2012 USA Swimming or Masters registered athlete. One event Masters' registration available. Certificates awarded for the top three places in each age group. The race course will be triangular and each distance marked by large buoys.
Event schedule and times
Race packets will be available on Friday, August 24 at a location to be determined from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on race day from 5:45 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. There will be a mandatory pre-race meeting around the race start site at 6:50 a.m
