Brief Description

Celebrate the end of the summer at the annual Arthur J. Ladrigan Swim Races & Family Fun Day at Bayley Beach! This is an event for the whole family and is compromised of three races; The 1 mile Arthur J. Ladrigan Swim Race, the 1/4 mile Buoy Race, and finally the Children’s swim races. After the awards ceremony, all are invited to join in the beach games; tug-of-war, pie-eating contest and a treasure hunt. NOTE: ALL 1 MILE SWIMMERS MUST HAVE A KAYAK ESCORT. NO EXCEPTIONS

NO REGISTRATION FEE IS REQUIRED FOR THE CHILDREN’S RACES 1) The Arthur J. Ladrigan Swim Race is roughly a 1-mile swim for advanced swimmers only. SWIMMER & KAYAK ESCORT MUST BOTH FILL OPUT WAIVER 2) The Buoy Race is a 1/4 mile swim from the buoy & back to shore and is for advanced swimmers only. 3) The Children’s swim races are grouped by age and run parallel to the beach. NOTE: ALL 1 MILE SWIMMERS MUST HAVE A KAYAK ESCORT. NO EXCEPTIONS SWIMMER & KAYAK ESCORT MUST BOTH FILL OUT WAIVER
