Prepare for the summer Triathlons by swimming the course across Lake Andrea. All swims will have a USAT Triathlon Swim Coach & be supported in by lifeguards in kayaks. "Noodles" will be available from the lifeguards in the kayaks before and during the swim for those who need some additional help for the swim. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check-in and receive the pre-swim briefing.
The swim will begin from Lake Andrea Beach, on the west side of Lake Andrea, opposite shore from the RecPlex, on Park Drive. Access Park Drive from 88th Ave/County H or from Hwy 165 (turn into Prairie Springs Park then immediately turn left and proceed to the beach).
Pre-registration is available at the RecPlex or you can pay at the beach before the swim. Please arrive in time to register and pay at the beach before the swim begins.
Saturday Season Pass - $79; Thursday Season Pass - $79; Ultimate Pass $149.
The course start will be at the south end of Lake Andrea Beach & will go across the lake finishing @ the triathlon swim out on the east side of the lake, by the Aqua Arena. Lifeguards will be on duty in kayaks following the swimmers across the lake.
Swim across the lake is approximately 1/2 mile. Those interested may swim back for 1 mile total, AFTER all swimmers have reached to shore by the RecPlex.
Swimmers who constantly swim off course may be removed from the lake by lifeguards, with no refunds. All participants are expected to sight and stay on course.

Jun 13, 20, 27, Jul 11, 18, 25, Aug 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. All swims start at 6pm. Sep 5 & 12 - swims start at 5:45pm.
June 18, August 6. Swims start at 6pm.
The three Tuesday nights before the Pleasant Prairie Triathlon and the Danskin Triathlon - June 4, 11, & 18 and July 23, 30, & Aug 6. Each session with include triathlon open water swim skills followed by a swim workout. Third class session is a swim across the lake. $29 RecPlex member, $39 non-member. There is no additional charge for the cross-lake swim.
