Swimmers will start in one wave. The 1-milers and 2.4 milers will swim to their designated buoys and return. The 3.5 milers will swim one lap around the lake. The 7 milers will swim two laps. The course is marked with buoys, and safety boats will be present.
Package pick-up, participant confirmation, waiver signatures, number assignments, and finalization of the official swimmers list will take place Sat, 14 Sep from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the 4-H Club. Attendance is mandatory! There will be no "morning of" processing. You must make it Sat to swim Sun.
There will also be an event dinner at the 4-H Club on 14 Sep from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. You may purchase a seat for this event during registration at a reduced charge of $15 until Aug 15, 2013, or purchase a ticket later at full price of $20 (see www.tct7mileswim.com for details). Either way, the deadline to purchase event dinner seating is midnight on 08 Sep 2013. Guest speakers will discuss the inspiration and purpose of this event.
