Brief Description

The ICE Breaker Swim is a Half and One-mile Open Water Swim with pancake breakfast.

Fees

1/2 mile ICE Breaker Swim - $35 w/ IB Swim Beanie, $30 w/out Beanie.
1 mile ICE Breaker Swim - $40 w/IB Swim Beanie, $35 w/out Beanie.
Athletes in both races receive pancake breakfast after race.

The Course

The ICE Breaker swim will take place in Folsom Lake in Granite Bay. The water temperature is sure to be under 60 degrees and wetsuits are recommended. Hot coffee will be available for all athletes - before and after the swim.

Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up and race day registration will be available from 6:30 am to 8 am on race morning.

Awards and Results

The ICE Breaker Open Water Swim will have three waves: competitive Half Mile, competitive One Mile, and Open Half or One Mile. Awards will be given to the top three male and female swimmers in each the Half Mile and One Mile Competitive Divisions. Additional Age Group awards may be added based upon entries. All waves will have posted results at: www.tbfracing.com.

Directions to the start

From the Bay Area or Sacramento take I-80 East to Roseville and take the Douglas Blvd exit east. From Reno take I-80 West to Roseville and take the Douglas Blvd exit east. Douglas Blvd will run directly into Folsom Lake State Park. Turn right at the third stop sign and enter the parking area at Granite Beach. The start and finish will take place at Granite Beach. The park entrance fee is $10.
