Join Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC and Burkes Lakeside for the Second Annual Lake Country Frostbite Scramble. Proceeds go to support the Village of Summit Police Officers and Village of Dousman Volunteer Firefighters.You can register as a foursome or individually at silvercirclesportsevents.com. Check-in starts at 11:00 at Burkes Lakeside with Frostbite Bloody specials! Shotgun start at Noon. Awards at 3:00.
The course is a 9 hole, 1400 yard, 35 par course. Distances vary from a 75 yard par 3 to 200 yard par 5. The "greens" will be shoveled with a hole drilled in the ice. Fairways will be left un-mowed - don't expect much roll....
Burke's Lakeside is the gracious host of the Frostbite Scramble. They will have Bloody specials at check in, drink and food specials throughout the day and music during/after the event. Come for the fun, stay for entertainment.
Volunteers & Spectators
We are in need of volunteers to help with set up, registration and general assistance. Volunteers and spectators are welcome to walk the course and cheer on their team or antagonize them. We DO NOT have a silent rule on the course.
Summit PD & Dousman FD
Proceeds from this event go to support the police officers and volunteer fire fighters in Lake Country.
In the event that the ice is not 6" thick, we will refund the registration fee. Refunds are not permitted for any other reason.
This is a nine hole, best ball scramble. Teams of 4 (+/-) will start at designated T-Time and hole assignment. Players must use a tennis ball but may use any other device to strick the ball.
Ample parking is available at no charge. Parking is located at Burkes Lakeside located at 37238 Valley Road. We ask that you please park behind the building as we need the front parking lot for coordinating the event.
The Lake Country Frostbite Scramble is located on Silver Lake in the Village of Summit, WI. Burke's Lakeside is located across the street from the boat launch and the first hole. Please use caution when crossing the road. Valley Road is the second busiest road in the Village.
There will be a silent action with all proceeds going to support Summit PD and Dousman FD. Burkes Lakeside will have drink specials and food specials.Additional events include long drive, closest to the keg and putting contest - cash prizes!
