The North Face Race To The Top Of Vermont is a 4.3 mile hill climb up the famous Mt. Mansfield Toll Road in Stowe, VT. Run, Bike or Hike your way to the top of Vermont! The MVP Health Care Run For Fun youth event is a 1 km fun run for kids 4-14 years of age. All kids will receive a medal in this fun event aimed at introducing children to the fun of running.
The North Face Race To The Top Of Vermont will be limited to the first 800 registered participants. The entry fee will include a high quality tech shirt, a post race BBQ meal, live music, and a large raffle for all participants. Over $16,000 in awards and raffles prizes. Handmade stoneware race mugs will be awarded to the top three men and women in each 10 year age group in both the run and Mt. bike. Cash awards to the top three men and women overall in run and Mt. bike category. An overall $500 cash award will be presented to any man or woman who breaks the overall course record (both run and MTB) in their gender. Team awards will be presented to the fastest male and female teams in the Open Category, Master Category (40+), and Senior Category (50+). Teams must consist of all males or all females doing the same discipline (all run or all bike). Team awards are scored by the total time of all team members. The award will go to the fastest male and female teams regardless of the discipline. A Team Captain must sign up the entire team when registering. Last day for Team registration is Aug 20. All team members will also be eligible for individual awards as well as team awards. The top three individuals in both the Clydesdale (male 200+lbs) and Athena (female 150+lbs) categories will receive awards regardless of discipline (run or Mt bike). All participants in these two categories must be weighed in at bib pickup. Clydesdale and Athena participants will not be eligible for age group awards. All race participants will be entered in a large raffle but the participant must be at the award ceremony to win a raffle prize. Registration will be limited to 200 participants so make sure you sign up early. BBQ tickets for the MVP Health Care Run For Fun must be purchased at least on week prior to the event. Tech shirts may be purchased separately on race day while supplies last. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Headphones and earbuds are prohibited while on the course. Trekking and ski poles are not allowed during the run, but are able to be used during the hike. Dog will be allowed to accompany the hikers, but must be kept on leash at all times.
