The SentryWorld junior golf program is back after a two-year absence during SentryWorld’s complete renovation. Our new golf practice facilities are among the best anywhere and the perfect venue to teach junior golf. Our junior golf program is led by long-time junior golf teacher and PGA professional Brian Dumler, with assistance from LPGA professional Katie Kreuser. The five-class program meets for 70 minutes per class and offers a maximum student to instructor ratio of six to one. Our first class is spent putting and chipping and at each successive class we gradually move away from the hole covering pitching, iron play, fairway shots, sand play and driving. Our program encourages a fun, interactive approach to developing junior golfers and promotes golf as a lifestyle for young people. Our junior golf program is open to children ages six to 17 and has three levels: Player, Sport and Champion. Golf clubs are available to use at no charge during class. Best of all, you can enjoy the reimagined SentryWorld while your junior is in class! The Player program is the first of three levels and great for juniors with little or no experience. The Player level is followed by the Sport and Champion levels. Player level objectives: - Develop an understanding of the sport of golf. - Learn fundamental movement and motor skills and link them together into the golf swing. - Establish essential safety and etiquette.
