What's Included

Class Description: Working with wire is a fun, approachable way to explore 3-D art. Girls and boys both will have a blast experimenting with wire and can finish at least one or possibly a few different pieces which could be functional or purely expressive, but all super fun to make! Students will be supplied with materials to create with, including wire, found objects (buttons, fabric, yarns, beads, paint, etc) and are invited to bring any additional items to use for inspiration or inclusion in their works of art! Beth will supply instruction and help to bring ideas to life! Teacher: Beth Liggitt is a jewelry and glass artist with a background in graphic design and a true love of the West. In love with metal and glass all her life, she sees each of her handmade pieces as an expression of her life experiences. She began working in traditional metalworking techniques as a high school student, and went on to explore and create in art glass. Her passion and love for her craft are contagious.

About This Organizer
