What's Included

Class Description: Students will stitch their own sketchbooks, designing the covers to make them their own. Sketchbooks provide a playful space for risk-taking: if students are unhappy with a drawing, they just turn the page! Students will fill their sketchbooks with drawings, paintings, writing, college, sewing, printing, folding, etc. On the final day, students will share and discuss their work. Teacher: Sista Luna is a creator at heart and always has her hands busy. Her focus for most of the past few years has been making art in a variety of mediums including: oil painting, figure drawing, stone carving, and paper folding. She loves the beauty of craft and art informing and balancing each other. Her insight into the deeply personal connection between a creator and a piece of art inspired her class.

About This Organizer
