What's Included

Class Description: Printmaking with the famous studio of Oehme Graphics. Oehme Graphics tailors the workshop to specific needs for kids. We will touch upon multiple aspects of mono-printing and participants will have ample time the presses to create their own masterpieces. Each includes supplies. Tuition includes daily demonstrations and one on one time with the Master Printer, Sue Oehme, her artist in residence, and interns. Participants will work with cotton rag printing paper, oil and watercolor ink. One week of full day classes from 8:30am - 4:30pm is $300. Teacher: Taught by Master Printer, Susan Hover Oehme. Susan received her BFA in printmaking and painting from the University of Michigan, School of Art in Ann Arbor. She has been a life-long artist and won several grants early in her career, including a best-of-show for a 10 foot long lithograph, that enabled her to purchase her first printing press, which she then dragged around the country for twenty-odd years. Before launching Oehme Graphics in 2010, she held the title of Director/Vice President of Riverhouse Editions in Steamboat Springs, CO from 1996 through 2010.
