¡Hola! | I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela. My husband and I moved to the United States over twelve years ago, and we relocated to Pennsylvania in 2012. Since then we have both been actively serving in our school as volunteers for different classes, and I am now looking forward to teach this one. Our three kids (Sebastian, 11, Isabella, 8, Lucas, 6) are also students at YSCP, and we truly enjoy being a part of it! I obtained my Bachelors and Master’s degree in Spanish (with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language) at Brigham Young University (Provo, Utah), and I have worked as a Spanish teacher for all learning levels for five years now. I have taught both private and College-level students at different institutions in Utah and Pennsylvania. This year, after finishing a two-year teaching appointment at Penn State, I was able to travel to Venezuela and Ecuador, which was truly enriching for my personal and professional interests. I also worked in the YSCP summer program this year, and I am looking forward to working with you and your children in the fall semester.
