Race begins at the Mary Street Beach Entrance. The race will be a down and back on the hard packed sands of our beautiful St. Augustine Beach! This will be an official Chip timed race. Runners can pick up their chip between 9:30am and 10:30am on race day. Free parking will be available at the Mary Street beach entrance parking lot and Butler Beach Park (1 block south of Mary Street) and the beach itself. Boardwalks provide easy access to the Turtle Trot race. Goody Bags will be guaranteed to the first 300 5k registrants! (Goody bags will not be issued for the kids Fun Run Event) Turtle Trot T-Shirts will be given to everyone who pre-registers by February 8, 2013. T-Shirts will be given on a first come, first served basis to those who register after February 8th. Our beautiful hand carved turtle medals will be awarded in 10 categories to both male and female in the following age groups: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & Older. Prizes will also be awarded to: St. Johns County School with the most registered runners and Overall Male and Female race winners! Registration and Pre-Race Packet Pick Up at our EXPO! The EXPO will be held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Osceola Elementary School from 4pm-7pm. The Turtle Trot Expo will have educational booths for the kids and feature a spaghetti dinner 5pm-7pm ($5 per adult & $3 per child 10 & under). Pre-registrants may pick up your race packages between 4-7pm. * Late Registration will also be available at the Expo and day of race. Race packages may also be picked up between 9:30am-10:30am on race day.
