I started playing golf at 9 years old on a 9 hole golf course in Baker City, Oregon. I attended Billy Casper Golf Camp I in San Diego during my high school summers. I received the “Billy Casper Award” 3 consecutive years and earned a golf scholarship from Oregon State University. After college, I became a PGA & LPGA Club Golf Professional under legendary Mr. Joe Durgan and I have been a PGA Class A Golf Professional since 1990.
I currently work with juniors, High School, College students, and individual and group lessons are also abundant. My contributions to the PGA Inland Empire Chapter and the community of Spokane, WA has been rewarding and continues to this date.
I personalize my golf instruction for an individual’s balanced swing tendencies which is observed through video analysis and more rewarded through properly fitted equipment which transforms to solid ball contact and lower scores.
Mind Set, Physical Athletic Balance and Properly Fitted Equipment are three main components that area a necessity to the game of golf. My communication and experience is to help solve and find an interpretation that an individual can understand and execute. My tool box has many items to communicate: Video Analysis, Club Fitting, Swing Motion, Physical Abilities, Teaching Aids, even the “Rules of Golf”. Not only hitting balls on the driving range, but learning to play the game creatively and coping with the intangible elements of weather, atmosphere and terrain situations.
My passion is teaching golf which includes basics, extreme details, relaxation, and new technology. Golf is simply a game that we all love to play. Everyone has a golf story, so what is “Your Unique Golf Experience”?
