The Nikia Half Marathon & Relay is a 13.1 mile race with a 3-leg relay component
Will be a 13.1 mile out and back course. Course will begin at Oldfields School and travel .8 miles along Glencoe Rd to where it intersects with the NCR trail. Runners will head NORTH on the trail towards Monkton and will run 5.75 miles out, turn around and come back.
Relay exchange will take place at Monkton Station. Runners will be able to park along the Monkton Rd. shoulder. We will have shuttles running as well.
**Special Registration Instructions
You may either pay the registration fee, or receive a FREE entry by registering as a Nippy All-Star. Standard registration allows you to proceed as normal. Registering as a Nippy All-Star will forgo the registration fee and allow you to set up your own campaign page. $150 minimum for all All-Stars. This will not be a chip timed race.
There will be 3 aid stations located on the course, so you will pass by 5 in total. Water, Gu and Gatorade will be available.
Finishing participants will receive a re-usable grocery bag and a logoed travel coffee mug to fill with post-race hot beverages when they cross the finish line!
Half-marathon Overall Male & Female Winners, Half-marathon Age Group Winners, Top 3 Relay Finishers (All Male, All Female & Co-Ed), Most Spirited Individual, Most Spirited Team, Best Dressed, Best Baton. NO CASH PRIZES.
All packets (well, really just your race bib. Packet sounds nicer though) will be picked up on the day of the race prior to the race start. There will be no race bib pick up prior to race day. Table will open at 7:30am for pre-registered packet pick-up. Race day registration will be available IF and ONLY IF race does not sell out prior to race day.
