The South Orange Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs' Jaguar Track Program is a competitive track club offered to boys and girls, ages 7-16. This program aims to develop superior track and field skills, promote physical fitness, and build self esteem. Jaguar athletes compete in local, regional and national competition within their gender and designated age groups. The team is supported by an active parent association, and parent participation is critical to the success of the program.
The Indoor Track season begins in mid-November and ends in early March. Practices days are Monday and Wednesday at Columbia High School and designated Fridays at Seton Hall University.
Fees for Jaguar Track include:
- $10 Membership Fee payable to the Village of South Orange
- $10 Facilities Fee
- $165 Activity Fee payable to the Jaguar Track Club
- $75 Refundable uniform deposit payable to Jaguar Track Club
Registration for the Jaguar Track Club Indoor program will be taken in person at The Baird as follows:
Wednesday, November 7th, 7:30-9:00 pm
Saturday, November 10th, 10:00 am-12:00 pm
FIRST PRACTICE AND MANDATORY PARENT ORIENTATION MEETING WILL BE HELD AT COLUMBIA HIGH SCHOOL (2ND FLOOR), MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH AT 6:00 PM.
