Brief Description

Pitch for the Cure is a girls’ fastpitch softball tournament that raises funds for Chicks Charities but also has additional global ambitions attached to it. It connects regional youth to fight against breast cancer and empowers girls to be active for change in their communities. The 6th Annual Pitch for the Cure is presented by Northwest Arkansas Fastpitch Softball Association dba Springdale Chicks, in special partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure Ozark Affiliate.

Limited Space

Full pre-registration is required. Team space is limited for this special event based on field space! Each year space is SOLD OUT in April. Please don't miss out by delaying your registration.

Bracketing

Teams will not be bracketed until payment and registration form is received.

In addition to registration fees

We ask that each team bring a "Team Challenge Donation". This is a direct tax-deductible donation to the Komen Foundation. See our website for ideas on fundraising. Fundraising

Withdrawals

Withdrawing from the tournament after bracketing has BEGUN will result in a forfeiture of entry fees.

USSSA

All participating teams must be USSSA registered and post an online USSSA roster. If your team is not, then you can visit the USSSA website to enter your team information and pay the $30.00 fee. This is a DOUBLE POINTS NIT event PLUS USSSA has added additional points to their NIT level tournaments!! Check our 2011 New Stuff page for details. Game results will appear on USSSA.com

This DOUBLE POINTS USSSA NIT tournament has a 3-game guarantee for girls' fastpitch brackets: 8UMP, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U.
