990 Hurt Road
Global Sports Association began in September of 2002. We have built a great Fast Pitch Softball program. Since our beginning, our main goal was to provide the best competition possible in Tournaments. We work hard at our rankings in order to create the highest level of competition. The high level of competition shows in our Tournaments because the majority of our Tournaments come down to the "If" game. And we have a lot of 1 and 2 run games. GSA offers 6 classifications in order to do our best at placing teams of the same caliber in Tournaments. Those 6 classifications are A - GOLD, A - SILVER, B - GOLD, B - SILVER, B - BRONZE, and B - COPPER. GSA has people that have been with other organizations over the years, and our goal is to create high quality competition for the top teams in the World, all the way down to teams that are just trying there luck at Tournaments. We have seen teams over the years that would have continued playing Tournaments had there been a place for them to play and compete. We know it doesn't do the top teams any good to play someone that is just starting out, and it don't do the teams that are just starting out any good to play teams that have been together for years. We also realize that certain rules may work good for one classification and may not for another. So we listen to what each individual group has to say about there group and try our best to set our rules each year based on individual groups. We fell that we are the most "Coach Friendly" organization there is in both Youth and Adult Amateur Sports. OVER THE WINTER WE HAVE HIRED 66 DIRECTORS IN 21 STATES DOING FAST PITCH SOFTBALL. GSA NEVER CHARGES A GATE FEE. 1 Pool & Double Elimination This tournament will consist of teams from Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee & Florida. You must have played in at least two (2) GSA tournaments since 08/01/11. 8-U $250
