IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please note that the Aurora Girls Softball Association is responsible for all scheduling of softball games. If inclement weather forces a postponement, games will be rescheduled as field usage permits.
Age Determination:
The cutoff for all age groups is December 31 2011. Example : for a 12U player she must be 12 years old or younger on Dec. 31 2011 to play on a 12U team.
SEASON DATES - GAMES & PRACTICES:
Players will be assigned to teams and coaches by the middle of April. Coaches will contact parents to coordinate practices shortly after this date. Games will start the week of May 2nd and run through June 23rd. Game days are Monday through Thursday evenings. Your child could play on one, or two of these nights in addition to the night(s) your team arranges to hold practice. Please understand this policy before you register your child. Half of the games will be played at the Aurora Sports Park, the remainder of the games will be various fields in Denver, Aurora, Elizabeth, Castle Rock, Parker or Strasburg. There are no weekend games unless there are numerous rainouts. Each coach will determine your team’s practices dates.
COST OF INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION:
The individual registration fee for softball is $155.00 if you register from December 12th 2011 to January 31st 2012, $170.00 if you register from February 1st to March 23th 2012.
Shirts, socks and visors will be provided by AGSA. The registration fee also includes 1 3x5 individual picture and 1 5x7 team picture for each player.
