Kindergarten Soccer will meet on 8 Saturday mornings, April 6 - June 8 (except April 20 and May 25), at Richardson Field. Richardson Field is located between Beethoven and Allen Avenues. A few games will be on the Zervas School playing field. June 15 is reserved for a rain date. Kindergartners will play from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., and pre-kindergartners will play from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult - this is not a drop-off program.
Kindergarten Soccer is run by parent volunteers and we need parents to help as coaches and assistant coaches. No previous knowledge of soccer is required. So if you are interested in signing up your child, consider signing up yourself as well!
The fee for Kindergarten Soccer is $70. (Financial assistance is available and is confidential – please email us at newtonkindergartensoccer@gmail.com.) Your child will receive a team t-shirt and a medal or trophy at the end of the program. Every child must bring a size 3 soccer ball and wear shin guards each week. You may order this equipment through our program.
The deadline to submit your registration is March 22, 2013. After this date, you may still register your child if space is available; a $20 late fee will apply. Enrollment is limited and handled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need to withdraw your child, a refund (minus a $10 administrative fee) will be provided until April 13, 2013.
