The camp is open to all children in grades 1-5 who are also enrolled in a simultaneous Park District camp that runs 9:00am-2:45/3:00pm. You may choose to enroll in morning care, afternoon care or both. You must provide your own transportation to and from Before and After Camps (children will be bused to/from West Ridge Center to/from their main camp). Description: This class is perfect for a child who is full of entry and parents who are looking for an introduction to soccer. Socialization, teamwork, following directions, key motor skills and having fun will be the focus in this noncompetitive environment." This is the perfect class for first timers! All the basic skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and goaltending will be taught in a noncompetitive environment. Teamwork, participation and good sportsmanship are stressed. Both boys and girls are encouraged to join this class if they have an interest in soccer and plan to play in the future.
