Run The Reagan

About This Activity

This event's routes are all out and back on the Ronald Reagan Parkway. The Parkway will be completely closed to vehicle traffic during the event. All races start at Presidential Circle and will follow a 13.1, 6.2, 3.1 or 1 mile route. Water stations are located every 1.5 miles, as well as medical attention and port-a-johns along the race route.

Ronald Reagan Parkway will be closed from 2 a.m. until 2 p.m. on February 15th. Arrive early! The following roads lead to Presidential Market and Eastside Medical Center: SR 124/Scenic Hwy between U.S. 78 and Sugarloaf Parkway; and Web Gin House to Tree Lane in Snellville, GA.

Race Schedule for the 2014 Run The Reagan is:

9:00 am  Timed Half Marathon

9:15 am  Timed 10 K

10:30 am 1 Mile Fun Run-Untimed

11:00 am   Timed 5 K

11:00 am  5 K Walk/Run-Untimed

Only timed runners will appear in race results and be eligible for awards.

Is Your School the Best at Running? Prove it!
This is your schools chance to put together a team for this year's 20th Anniversary of the Run The Reagan Road Race.

Each student attending local Gwinnett high schools or middle schools who register to walk/run in the half marathon, 10K, or 5K races will earn $5 for his or her school (minimum 10 participants per school team). In addition, the top two schools with the most registered participants in the Run the Reagan event (and this award includes volunteers) will receive a gift card as well as a handsome trophy to be displayed at their school. 

$500 Academy Sports + Outdoor Gift Card for 1st place
$250 Academy Sports + Outdoor Gift Card for second place.
