Rustic rural road routes, or 1 trail route. Youth Ride 4 miles. Family Fun Ride 15 miles. Mountain Bike-it 12 miles. Rare opportunity to enjoy the trails by bike! Tour de Nature 22 miles. Nature x 3 50 miles. Rest stops provided. 100 mile route -- CANCELLED on Aug. 7 due to response. Rest stops provided.
Navarino Nature Center (NNC) provides environmental education and recreational activities to over 4,000 area school children, plus families and adults throughout the year. The nature center is located on the 15,000 acre Navarino Wildlife Area (WDNR). The nature center is a 501c3 non-profit which is supported by members and donations. Staff and volunteers work together to keep NNC operational year round. Over 90 miles of hiking trails are open on the wildlife area, 12 miles of trails are groomed for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding are also available. Biking is not allowed on the wildlife area. NNC has applied for a Special Use Permit for the one day bike ride to permit participants on the designated trails for the ride. About The Ride….
