Learn what it’s like to live a day in the life of a farmer. Experience a variety of farm animals along with local farms, a county fair, and the gardens. This week campers will see a unique side of God’s creation through community, bible studies, and the culture of farming. Christian community is the backbone of our summer camp program. Campers will worship, play, serve and study in small “family” groups while living in cabins (or tents if noted in the camp description) with other campers under adult supervision. Campers receive three kid-friendly nutritious meals daily and will cook their own food over a campfire at least once. Disconnected from electronics and reconnected to God’s creation, campers and parents are encouraged to use that old fashioned form of communication – the letter, to stay connected during camp. Camp staff receives training in safety, first aid, conflict resolution and community building, among other things. Our counselors’ help campers meet new friends and recognize the fingerprints of God all around us .
