Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the CEO of a corporation or small business? Now’s the time to unleash your entrepreneurial spirit in this hands-on business venture camp following Junior Achievement and the Lean Launchpad methodology for middle school students that offers a broad range of topics created by some of the world’s leading entrepreneurs and business institutions including Stanford, UC Berkley and Columbia. Students will learn how to assess their entrepreneurial abilities, creatively think about potential products and services, research the market, and develop cost structures and interactive business plans. The outcome of the program will be to create a personal plan incorporating entrepreneurial thinking, innovation and other 21st century career readiness skills. Speakers will include local business leaders, heads of start-up businesses in Cleveland and teens who have success stories to share. Field trips to start-up companies are included.
