Do you play violin, viola or cello? Learn how to improvise and play jazz tunes in a supportive and creative environment with other string players. You'll step outside the 'classical music box' and dive into jazz and improvisation in a strings big band with a full rhythm section. This ensemble is geared for intermediate to advanced players of all stringed instruments in grades 7-12. No jazz experience is necessary. Come with an open mind and an expectation of fun times ahead! *We need a jazz rhythm section. If you play piano, guitar, bass or drums and can sight read music, please sign up!
