What's Included

Do you know what microscopic forms of life exist in one drop of seawater? You won't believe your eyes! Encounter bizarre larval creatures from sea stars to crabs to jellies! Discover the world of drifting plankton that plays a vital role in sustaining life in our fragile ocean ecosystem. Be amazed by spectacular nighttime "bioluminescent" diatoms as we take an evening kayak along the coast. To top it off, we’ll search for krill blooms and the marine mammals that survive on them while whale watching and surfing in Monterey Bay! Campers must be able to swim.

About This Organizer

Camp SEA Lab fosters lifelong excitement, scientific understanding, and stewardship of our coasts and ocean by providing quality marine oriented programs that promote Science, Education and Adventure for youth.
