Outdoor Leadership Series
Delve into the art and science of food planning and making tasty, nutritious meals in the backcountry. We will bring a best-practices approach to this course and focus on the nuts and bolts of expedition food planning; hands-on practice preparing great meals; stove use and kitchen safety; and protecting your food from critters. Gain tools and insights for organizing group meals and eating in the backcountry. Gain insights and tools for teaching stove safety and cooking skills to students. We will be walking into the woods to cook, weather permitting. Come dressed prepared to be outside.
