Online registration closes at noon on Thursday, July 11. Non-fundraising riders may register the day of the ride.
Riders who choose the fundraising option must register by Wednesday, May 29 to ensure their jersey will be available for the ride (those registered after Mau 29 will receive their jersey approximately 8 weeks after the ride if size is not available the day of the ride).
Fundraising riders must create a personal fundraising page for donations to be credited to them. Fundraising riders must cover any remaining portion of the $150 minimum before beginning the ride.
Fundraising Prize Levels
While special prizes will be awarded to the top fundraisers, every participant will receive the following clothing upgrades or additions at each fundraising level (some upgrades may occur after the event for those reaching fundraising levels after June 1).
$750+ = Rabbia IAW Cycling Jersey Upgrade
$1250+ = Rabbia IAW Cycling Shorts/Bib-Shorts and Jersey Upgrade
Rabbia is the upper end line of Rage Cycling featuring all Italian fabrics, grippers, and chamois.
Ride Check-in and Start Times
Please note that to accommodate parking needs for the BBQ at Alpha, the ride begins at Coast Community Church, 4973 Via Los Santos Road.
Check-in opens at 6:45a. The 70 mile route opens at 7:15a. Riders are encouraged to begin at this time as a group roll-out but may start the 70 mile ride up until 8:15a.
The 30 mile route opens at 8:30a with a start like the longer route. Riders may start the 30 mile ride anytime before 9:00a.
ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A HELMET AT ALL TIMES DURING THE RIDE! Roads along the ride routes are open to traffic and all traffic laws must be obeyed. Violations resulting is citations are the responsibility of the participant. Riders not obeying traffic laws and exhibiting common courtesy may be asked to leave the ride. Ride single file.Both route options provide a fun and scenic ride through beautiful Santa Barbara, with the 30 mile route providing something for the novice to intermediate level rider and the 70 mile route providing a challenge for the more advanced rider.
All participants receive a BBQ lunch following the ride (additional BBQ tickets can be purchased for friends and family, see additional information). Those who chose the fundraising registration option will receive a ride jersey and qualify for a chance to win fundraising prizes. Those who chose the fundraising option will be responsible to pay any portion of the $150 fundraising minimum not raised on the day of the event to complete their ride entry.
