What's Included

There is no place better to be inspired by the natural world than Lake Tahoe. This unique sleep away camp combines outdoor living and science into one amazing experience. Youth entering 5th or 6th grade will spend a week exploring the lake’s ecosystems, hiking scenic high sierra trails, cool off in the refreshing waters of Lake Tahoe, and observe and engage in science at Lake Tahoe's Research Center. Camping on the western shore of the lake adjacent to Desolation Wilderness provides encounters with wildlife, easy access to the lake and riparian habitats, and enables us to see first hand the human impacts on a natural ecosystem. Campers are guaranteed an up close and personal experience with their natural world at one of North America’s largest alpine lakes. Camp Dates: July 18 – 22, 2016 Depart: CuriOdyssey 7:30am, Monday, July 18 Return: CuriOdyssey 5:00pm, Friday, July 22 Fee: Member $829
