Come for a Training Camp with Ivan Dominguez. A three-day cycling camp with Dominguez where you can learn pro-level training and racing tips and tactics, eating suggestions for both on and off the bike, insights into the life of a Pro Cyclist, and much more! All of this complemented with three days of fantastic training, as well product testing, from bikes to helmets to food and more.
CAMP OVERVIEW.A three-day cycling camp with Ivan Dominguez where you can learn pro-level training and racing tips and tactics, eating suggestions for both on and off the bike, insights into the life of a Pro Cyclist, and much more! All of this complemented with three days of fantastic training.Come and learn about the critical aspects of road and criterium racing: what to do in technical criteriums, where to be and when to go for the finish line, when to form your team for the perfect lead-out, the line-up for a great lead-out, what to expect during windy races, tips for staying with the main group, and one on one opportunities to get your questions answered!As a training camp, the emphasis is on acquiring knowledge and improving skills in a beautiful backdrop. It is not about racing. Different skills and experience levels will be accommodated. No riders will be left behind.NOTE: If you feel like racing, then you come with me after every ride so we can go at it. CAMP ITINERARY.Day One:8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Breakfast. Specifics on Training Ride #1. 9:45 a.m. 3 p.m. Training Ride #1. Approximately 4-5 hours. Questions welcomed throughout the ride. 2 p.m. 5 p.m. Recovery/free time. 5 p.m. 6 p.m. Unplugged #1 with Ivan Dominguez. Topic: 1. Q&A session at the end. 7 p.m. Dinner. In town Italian restaurant to prepare for next day s ride.Day Two:8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Breakfast. Welcome, general overview of the three days, and specifics on Training Ride #2. 9:45 a.m. 3 p.m. Training Ride #1. Approximately 5-6 hours. Questions welcomed throughout the ride.3 p.m. 5 p.m. Recovery/free time. 5 p.m. 6 p.m. Unplugged #2 with Ivan Dominguez. Topic: 2. Q&A session at the end. 7 p.m. Dinner. Let s eat to our heart s content!Day Three:8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Breakfast. Specifics on Training Ride #3.9:45 a.m. 1 p.m. Training Ride #3. Approximately 3 hours. Coffee shop stop at half-way point. Two competitive sprints during the second half of the ride. 1 p.m. 2 p.m. Final gathering and opportunity for Q&A. 2 p.m. Camp ends. Go kick butt on the road!*Itinerary subject to change. All times are estimates based on length of training ride, group pace, and on-the-bike versus off-the-bike demands. Topics of discussion to be announced with every camp.Each training camp has a minimum 10 riders and maximum 25 riders. This allows for ample individualized Q&A. Please contact me for camps with more than 25 riders. Training camp fee includes: SAG support, Unlimited Training food, drinks and water bottles will be provide by Ivan Dominguez. After training snack will be provide it as well. Lunch and Dinner is on your own.Note: You are expected to bring your bike in good working condition, helmet, cycling shoes, cycling clothes, glasses if you use them, and a good attitude with a lot of questions. WAIVER. Every participant is required to fill out a waiver and returned it in person before the start of the Training Camp in order to be considered a fully executed registration.
