Compass is a unique summer program for teens and Young adults (13-18 years old) from US and Puerto Rico; full of adventure, learning and entertainment. Compass is more than just a summer camp, it focuses in promoting personal, social, cognitive growth and self reliance, while they enjoy and learn something new every day, develop leadership, acquire social skills and engage in community service; skills that every day more college and businesses are looking for.
Compass key elements are our focus on security, quality activities, small groups, motivates participants, exceptional leaders and responsibility.
Compass is an adventure that will take you through the 4 cardinal points to learn, explore, and enjoy the wonders of our island and ecosystems, doing kayak, diving, snorkeling, horseback riding, camp fires, rappelling, hiking, surf, windsurf, zip-lining, community service and more. Staying in hotels, “paradores”, national park campgrounds and camping, during the whole experience. Compass will provide participants with an exciting experience of cultural exchange and immersion.
You may apply for the 2 week session or the 4 week session.
Participants will receive a certificate at the end of the program.
Compass will be supervised by the Puerto Rico Department of Family, and is member of the American Camp Association and the International Camping Fellowship.
