Join other Ocean-lovers and All One Ocean (AOO) at our Run For The Beach fundraiser. There will be something for everyone at this zero waste event - a 5k fun run or 1 mile walk ON THE SAND along beautiful and expansive Ocean Beach, music, food, kid-friendly activities, beach games, prizes, beach clean up, photo booth, raffle and more!
Wear a costume, bring your dog (on a leash*), form a team, and raise funds for All One Ocean. Awards will be given for top three finalists, best costume (individual, group, and dog), and for top fundraisers (individual and group).
We are aiming to raise $5000 and you can help! We encourage all our participants to try and raise $100 or more by asking your friends, coworkers, local businesses - everyone!- for $10 or more. We suggest that you consider starting your fundraising with your own $10.00 donation. Please note that all funds will go to Earth Island Institute, a 501c3 and our fiscal sponsor, on All One Ocean's behalf.
Each registration with at least one raffle ticket. Proof of sustainable transportation (bike, carpool, public transportation, walking) will get you another one.
Raffle prizes from Patagonia, Klean Kanteen, Green Toys, Flowers Winery & Vineyard, UrbanSitter, Pacific Heights Dry Cleaners, San Francisco Yoga School, Aquarium of the Bay, California Academy of Sciences, Gardener's Hollow Leg, SF Giants and many others to be announced.
Have fun while you support our community, the ocean and our beaches! See you at Stairwell 20 just South and West from the Beach Chalet at Ocean Beach. Map to be posted soon.
