Light can be elusive. Knowing the theories and techniques behind photographic lighting--from utilizing studio strobes to controlling harsh sunlight--is an essential skill in making any image work. Gain more confidence and control over your work as you discover the best methods to determine light quality, quantity and direction, as well as the correct tool for the task. The proper use of soft boxes, grid spots, umbrellas, reflectors and mirrors will be presented in detail. Class meetings take place in a studio setting and on location and include lecture, hands-on involvement and assignments.
