This course is designed to strengthen the front crawl stroke with side breathing and elementary backstroke, introduce diving (pools 9 feet or deeper), increase endurance of survival float and treading water, and combine skills. Skill objectives include the head first retrieval of object from bottom of the pool at five (5) feet, treading water for 30 seconds, and swimming 25 yards on front and back without stopping.
