Brief Description

The 22nd Annual Juana Good Time Regatta is open to all sizes of multihull sailboats, from beach cats to cruising cats and trimarans.  In  addition to the distance and buoy races, Hobie races are back!  These will be timed races off the beach for experienced sailors without a boat.  We’ll be using Juana’s Pagodas Hobie Wave rental boats.

Late Registration

Registration will also be available at Juana's until 9PM on Friday, Sept. 7th. Smoothing Sailing party from 7-9PM on Saturday, Sept. 7th is where pre-registered racers can pick up shirts and wristbands. Food and free draft will be provided.

Awards

Hand Crafted Mugs from Holley Hill Pottery awarded to 1st-3rd place in each fleet. Specialty awards given are as follows: Carlton Tucker award; 1st place co-ed team; Best Breast on the Beach, and Farthest towed.

Results

Results and times entered into and configured by Sailwave software. Unoffcial results posted after each race.

Food, Fun, and Drinks

Participants receive t-shirts (while supplies last). First consideration for t-shirts will be given to entries received by Sept. 1. Free Breakfast Saturday & Sunday. Snacks and free draft Friday night, BBQ Dinner on Saturday with free draft, & Subs from All American Heroes on Sunday. Corona drinks specials. Live music from the MoJiles, Calypso Nuts, and Jerry Diaz and the Reefers. Professional pictures taken during the race and displayed in a slide show on Sunday.

Additional Information

We have designed the regatta for both experienced and novice racers with the main emphasis being a “Good Time”. It all starts with the Smooth Sailing and Late Registration Party on Friday. Saturday will be the Distance Race and Beach BBQ. Sunday brings excitement with the Triangle Buoy Races and Awards Ceremony.
