The mile starts at 8:30 am, while the featured 5K begins at 9 am
Those entering the 5K can enter as either a competitive or recreational entry. Here is the difference: the competitive entry will be issued a timing chip, will receive an official time and be eligible for awards. The recreational entry will not receive an official time. However, there will be a digital clock at the finish line where all the finishers can see their finishing times.
The entry fees are $25 for the competitive 5K entrants, $20 for the recreational 5K entrants and $15 for the mile. After May 12th, all the fees increase by $5. Shirts are guaranteed to all those registered by May 12th. For those requesting XXL or XXXL shirts, the fee is an additional $2.
Late entrants can register and pre-registered entrants can pick up their packets either on May 31 from 4 – 8 pm at the Ball Park or on race day beginning at 6:30 am.
In the mile, awards will be given to the top three finishers overall. In the 5K, awards will be given to the top three males, to the top three females, and to the three males and females in each age group.
