What is Girls on the Run?

Girls on the Run® is a life-changing, experiential learning programs for girls age eight to thirteen years old. The programs combine training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workouts. The goals of the programs are to encourage positive emotional, social, mental, spiritual and physical development.

5K Course

The course starts at the corner of B Street and Plumas Blvd and weaves around Yuba City Town Center concluding at the City Fountain.

Pre-Registration

Ensure an event shirt and pre-register by November 18. Shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last for registrations received after November 18. Visit http://underthesunevents.org/girls-on-the-run-soroptimist-of-sutter-county/ for registration information.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available at New Earth Market, 1475 Tharp Road in Yuba City on a date tbd. Packets can also be picked up on race morning in front of Sutter Medical Foundation, 480 Plumas Blvd, Yuba City, beginning at 7:45 a.m.
