Brief Description

Run Wild & Rehabilitation Specialists proudly present the 2nd Annual "THE HALF!" half marathon. Get ready, get training, GO! Fit4U! Coaching & Training is the official training service for The Half. Entry Fee

$45 thru 11/1; $50 11/2 thru 11/15; $55 11/16 thru Race Day

Race Course

An out and back course on paved roads with most of the run on great asphalt surface. The course will travel over some gently rolling hills through the peaceful air of the surrounding and nearby state park. This will be an open course, however traffic is minimal.

Fueling Stations

There will be hydration stations on the course with water, electrolyte drink and energy gel.

Age Groups

Male and Female: Ages 10-14, and in 5 year age groups thru 70+

Awards

1st, 2nd & 3rd Overall: Male & Female; 1st Place Masters: Male & Female; 1st Place Grand Masters: Male & Female; 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each age group: Male & Female

Long Sleeve Tech Tees

Brooks Podium tech tees (moisture wicking) will be guaranteed to all participants registered by November 1.

Park Entry Fee

Race management will assume the $3 park fee for race particpants only. The park ranger will have a list of participants at the pay gate. Upon your arrival, please give them your name. Once you enter the gate, your name will be checked on the list. Only one check mark allowed per person.

Directions from I-49

The state park is located approximately 10 miles south of Alexandria, LA. Exit #73 from I-49 South. Turn right off of exit onto Robinson Bridge. Travel approximately 2 miles along Robinson Bridge Road. After entering the town of Woodworth, take a left onto Indian Creek Road. Follow Indian Creek Road to the Ranger Station.

Obey Speed Limit

Pay close attention to your speed while traveling to and from the race site through the town of Woodworth. Save your speed for the run not for your drive!

Packet Pick Up

Run Wild, Friday, November 21, 4 - 6pm and at the Race Site on Race Day, 6:45 - 7:30am.
