Brief Description

Together with the Cherokee County Fire Department (Hoses) and the County Sheriff’s Department (Guns), Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will be hosting its Seventh Annual 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. The purpose of the run is to raise money for a charity that is selected by both groups. This year the money will go to the CASA Association (Court Appointed Special Advocate). When registering, you will pick the team that you want to represent and $5 of your fee will go towards their chosen charity.

Additional Information

Moisture-Wicking shirts in white/red for the Hoses and navy/white for the Guns will be made available in your race packet for all 5K participants only. (Shirt size selections will be guaranteed for those that register by February 1st ONLY). All 1 mile Fun Run participants will earn a commemorative medal. For the 5K race, awards will be given in both male and female divisions and in a variety of age groups as well. Registration begins on November 5th via the below website.
