Brief Description

The Home Run is a 5K charity run/walk to raise funds for the Forsyth Rapid Re-Housing Collaborative, which helps homeless people secure permanent housing. This project is part of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Ten Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness.

If you're not a runner, please consider supporting this cause by registering for the Fun Run, or walking the 5K. Another way you can help is by volunteering on race day. Please contact Teri Hairston at 336-721-9378 if you are interested.

Additional Information

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup and late registration on Friday, November 16 from 4-7 pm at Fleet Feet Sports, 50-G Miller Street, Winston-Salem NC 27104.

RaceDay

Race-day registration/packet pickup opens at 7:00. Fun run starts at 8:30, 5K starts at 9:00.

Fees:

Fun Run $10, 5K $25 until Nov 1, then $30 until Nov 16, $40 on race day.

Other:

T-shirts and socks guaranteed to the first 300 5K entrants. No t-shirts for Fun Run.

A Silent Auction will be held during the post-race celebration and awards ceremony. The kid zone, with bouncy houses and other activities, will be open during and after the race.
